Family Love // Fall 2013 Photos

Last Saturday at my aunt and uncle's house, we celebrated my papa's 75th birthday. He gave a beautiful speech that really touched me. My papa has always been a hero in my eyes. He was a doctor in the Vietnam war, and then went on to have his own family practice. He's so sweet and funny. And always thanking me for things when it should be the other way around.
I'm so thankful for every single person in my crazy family. Because they've made me the person I am today.

the girl with the curly hair

So last Friday I got my ever first hair dye kit. I got L'Oreal's Healthy Gloss kit in light golden brown.

But it turned out a bit reddish on my hair (making my hair auburn like) and I love it! So much. The kit was so easy and fun too. I didn't get all my roots as good in a few spots(because I thought I'd run out of the dye, but I had more than enough in the end).
And the one of the best parts is that it's not permanent, it lasts from 4 to 6 weeks. Perfect. Anyways, enough words. Let's get to the photos.

We say the sweetest goodbyes // Family Camp: Day Five

Tis the day we went home. We had a little church meeting in the morning and packed everything up and also cleaned. It's always a sad day but a happy one too. We're sad to leave camp and some friends we don't see a lot, but happy to go home and get back to normal life.
It makes me smile, thinking back on so many camp memories. Water balloon fights when we were young, going to see the falls probably a hundred times.
But the things I love the most, are the people I know and are a huge blessing in my life.

The initials of someone I do not know..

Jo, she got a hold of my camera. I love her. :)

We know the wonderfullest people // Family Camp: Day Four

This was the kicking back and resting day, well in the afternoon at least. Most of us went to the softball fields or horseback riding, but us girls just stayed at the camp. We sat around the fire and listened to music. Almost falling asleep and taking photos of each other.
It was a nice to just hang out with my beautiful friends. They are truly wonderful and I love them with all my heart.
Then that night we all sat around a huge fire and sang praises to the most wonderful of all.

Maddy, we were at the tennis courts that morning.

Bible bookmarks.

Tabitha, before the kids went to the horse barn.

Elizabeth, I loved getting to know this beauty better. She's so sweet and funny.

Later that evening Leah, Adrienne, Haley, and I headed to the falls. The parents and little kids were already there. :)

Adrienne is too adorable. <3

Beautiful Haley.
